Century Route 3 Harbors Tour 2010 with 4300' of climb

Century, Metric, & Quarter
 
 
 

The Century Route leaves Ventura Harbor and rides down the coast to Channel Islands Harbor with Free admission the the Ventura County Maritime Museum. It  makes a loop around scenic Ventura, circles sparkling Lake Casitas then heads north to Santa Barbara Harbor. The riders will lunch @ SB Harbor's Maritime Museum with free admission for riders (see Surf Film Saturdays!). Return at your leisure to Ventura Harbor by way of the Pacific Coast Bike route to a fabulous After-ride BBQ with LIVE music on the water. This route is rated as "Extremely Difficult" under the Bicycle Ride Directors Association of America (BRDAA) system.  Check-in for the Century riders is from 6:30 - 7:30 AM.

Metric Route 3 Harbors Tour 2010. It has 1700 feet of climb.




The Metric Route follows the Pacific Coast Bike Route to Santa Barbara with a deli lunch at the SB Maritime Museum + free admission for riders. Watch dolphins play along the route following the Pacific Coast with rolling surf, numerous reststops & cool coastal winds. Return to Ventura Harbor for a delicious After-ride BBQ with LIVE music on the water. This route is rated as "Moderate to difficult" in the  Bicycle Ride Directors Association of America (BRDAA) rating system. Metric Check-in is from 7:30-8:30 AM.

This quarter century route has over 200 feet of minor climbs.




The Quarter Century route pedals from Ventura Harbor down to Channel Islands Harbor. First Rest Stop @ the Channel Islands Maritime Museum with free admission for all riders. Circle Ventura County Naval See Bee Base then pedal down to the Port Hueneme Lighthouse & Pier to see the US Pacific's largest deep water  port.  Have a leisurely return to Ventura Harbor for the tasty After-ride BBQ with LIVE music on the water. This route is rated as "Easy to Moderate" under the Bicycle Ride Directors Association of America (BRDAA) rating system.  
Quarter century riders check-in at 9 AM.
